You might cut a large piece of cardboard out of a box and then, using 5 cm wide masking tape, stretch the canvas flat and glue it in place. If you don't have a large enough piece of cardboard, see if you have a piece of wood or pre-stretched canvas to glue. You can also paste this directly onto your desk.
